Samba Schutte is a Dutch-Mauritanian actor, comedian and writer who was born in the Sahara Desert and grew up in Ethiopia. He is known for HBO Max's Our Flag Means Death (2022) starring and executive produced by Taika Waititi. He tells Pete his story of having to flee an Ethiopian civil war! Oh and and he learned movie making as a child in Ethiopia playing a video game made by Steven Spielberg?! #sambaschutte #peteholmes #youmadeitweird #podcast ============================================ SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS Thank you VITA COCO for being our official ON SET BEVERAGE Get 25% off and get Vita Coco shipped to your door by using code WEIRD20 https://vitacoco.com ARMRA Get 15% off first order https://tryarmra.com/weird Promo code: WEIRD LECTRIC E-BIKES https://lectricebikes.com RITUAL 25% OFF first month! https://ritual.com/weird MODERN MAMMALS Get free shipping with code WEIRD https://modernmammals.com/weird
