GloRilla grew up singing in the church choir, so why did she STOP going to church? In this episode of Let’s Be Clear Season 6, Dr. Jamal Bryant sits down with GloRilla, Grammy nominated rapper from Memphis, for a real talk about faith, church judgment, fame, and her walk with God. They talk about the day a pastor called her out for her tattoos and piercings in front of everybody, why church people got mad over her songs with Kirk Franklin, the scariest part of being famous, her worst show at the BET Awards, and the gospel album she says is coming for sure. Glo also tells us about her new app GloVerse, where you can book hair, lashes, makeup, barbers, and more, and why she made it after struggling to find glam for her own shows. If you’ve ever felt judged at church, or felt like you had to look a certain way to be welcome in God’s house, this conversation is for you. #LetsBeClear #JamalBryant #GloRilla ~~~~~~ The Jamal Bryant Podcast "Let’s Be Clear" is a conversation that rips off the bandaid to serious relevant issues in the community and around the country.
