Show Notes: https://retipster.com/220-meir-shemtov/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM In this episode, I sit down with Meir Shemtov to uncover how he turned an overlooked piece of sloped land into a luxury micro resort that’s booked solid. We dive into every stage of his journey: from acquiring a $200K hillside lot that nobody wanted, to working through the intense permitting process, to finding high-end prefab glass villas from Estonia, and raising over $500K on Indiegogo through a brilliant Facebook ads strategy. You’ll learn what it takes to build a short-term rental that’s truly unique, how to tap into existing traffic from nearby attractions, why being “remarkable” is more important than being cheap, and what kind of mindset and team make this possible. This is Meir's first full public breakdown of the business—and it’s packed with insights for land investors, short-term rental owners, and anyone exploring boutique hospitality. *🙋🏻‍♂️ Get the REtipster Newsletter (It's FREE)!* https://welcome.retipster.com/newsletter/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM *🚀 Land Investor’s Action Plan (Free 5-Day Course!)* https://welcome.retipster.com/5-day-email-course/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM *⚠️ Land Buyer’s Survival Guide (Free 5-Day Course!)* https://welcome.retipster.com/survival-guide/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM *👉 10X Your Income from Land Investing* https://welcome.retipster.com/webinar-invite/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM *😀 Join the REtipster Forum!* https://forum.retipster.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_content=8VkgX75obXM *🛠️ All My Favorite Tools and Resources 🛠️* https://retipster.com/resources/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=shorts&utm_content=code #landinvesting #landdevelopment #shorttermrental #airbnbbusiness #realestatestrategy #luxurystays #selfstorageinvesting #realestateportfolio #retipsterpodcast #landflipping #microresort #mirrorvillas #glamping #vacationrental #airbnbdesign #realestateinvesting
