The mainstream media is omitting facts, college campuses are de-platforming speakers, and politicians like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton are calling for social media platforms to police their users. Proponents argue that controlling misinformation is necessary to prevent societal unrest and protect vulnerable communities. Joining me today is Dave Rubin, one of the original political YouTubers and the creator of The Rubin Report, with millions of views each week. As a fierce defender of free speech, Rubin is an extremely vocal opponent of growing calls for censorship, both in the U.S. and abroad. He offers real-life examples of how this trend is silencing voices and marginalizing opinions, and he passionately advocates for the protection of our fundamental rights. If you're curious about both points of view or concerned about censorship, cancel culture, or losing your voice, this conversation is a must-watch.
