I've known Zac Griffith for years, and there's one thing I gave him a hard time about: needing a helicopter rescue after getting injured on a mountain. Then he sat down in the Wild Chaos studio and told me what actually happened. Turns out, I didn't know the whole story. Zac is an experienced outdoorsman who had spent years hiking, hunting, and pushing himself physically. But during a backcountry trip, one accident left him seriously injured and unable to get himself out.
