Felicia and Karega reflect on an affirmation from Karega's text that they both have been avoiding while they processed their grief. EPISODE NOTES I am a child of answered prayers, and all that I need is within me. Life is happening for me, not to me. And because of this, I will have gratitude in all lessons. This affirmation is one that Felicia has found herself avoiding as she wrestled around answered prayers. She realizes that this affirmation from Karega's book sits differently for someone sitting in grief which is why she has been struggling to process it. Today as she and Karega process in real-time, they both reflect on how they come to this affirmation now. How has their faith and experiences changed their perceptions, and what is it like to process while the storm is happening? As always, thank you all for your love. Thank you for being present on the journey. May we all love more abundantly. Today's episode is sponsored by Target! Target is partnering with HBCUs to support the next generation of Black talent.
