Fredia Gibbs made history as the first African-American female world kickboxing champion, but her toughest fight didn’t happen in a ring. It happened in a dark van on the streets of Los Angeles. Today, Fredia sits down to recount the harrowing details of her encounter with the man who would later be revealed as a prolific serial killer. From a childhood of “happily poor” beginnings in Chester, PA, to standing alongside icons like Bruce Lee and Van Damme, Fredia’s life has been defined by the “mindset of a champion.” Watch as she explains how that mindset saved her life when a predator picked the wrong victim. #truecrime #serialkillercase #survivalstory Thank you for watching Unfiltered Stories!
