*SPOILERS AND LINKS BELOW* Colvin “Butch” Hinton III kidnapped, raped and murdered Shannon Melendi in March 1994, but authorities didn't know that when they personally spoke to Butch and he provided an alibi. Ten years after Shannon went missing, Butch was finally charged with her murder. But why did it take so long? This week, Savannah digs into the facts of the case, the horrible last moments of Shannon's life, and why it so long for police to bring justice to the Melendi family.
