When President Biden won the 2020 election, the Left ridiculed anyone who questioned the security of electronic voting machines and the strange irregularities in vote tallies. But after Trump won in 2024, suddenly the "hacked voting machines" theory wasn't so ridiculous anymore. A new bombshell report has both sides furiously blaming the other. This week, a ProPublic report claims "a few months into President Donald Trump’s second term, political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security made an unusual request of its agency focused on cybersecurity: Secretly acquire a voting machine and hack it." Buried in the report: the request was never actually fulfilled. "Though not acted on, the request shows how the Trump administration has tried to use the agency for its own ends while draining it of resources for one of its critical missions: protecting the nation’s voting systems." But if electronic voting machines are allegedly so secure, why is the Left so concerned if the US government's cybersecurity teams take a closer look? And should Americans be concerned by Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin's recent revelation, reported by Epoch Times, that companies who make "80% of the electronic voting machines... have acknowledged that parts of their machines are made in China"? Today's guest Patrick Byrne, founder & former CEO of Overstock, is very familiar with voting machine irregularities – so much that he is a defendant in Dominion v. Byrne, a $1.7 billion defamation case. Eric Bolling returns with an update on the economy and the midterm elections. And Michael Gates, who is running for Attorney General of California, speaks on election security in the Golden State – and how federal agents busted a California voter fraud network earlier this week in "Operation Protect The Vote." The NY Post reports that "Gov. Gavin Newsom blasted the effort as an attempt to interfere with California’s voting process." Eric Bolling is a two-time NYT bestselling author, and is launching "Sunday With Eric Bolling" as a new weekly political show taking viewers behind the scenes of Washington’s power players and the DC machine. He launched "THE FIVE" at Fox News and "Fast Money" at CNBC, and won two Emmys for "Florida Free."
