Vincent Irkalla, a young queer homeless latino in NYC, stumbles into a working relationship with insidious Vampyre cult leader— Father S, and gets an inside view into his bad dealings, rac*sm and exploitive nature. Having been gr**med into the Vampyre community as a whole, his entire life was wrapped up in what he wanted to be a community, but it acted more like a “selfish scene”. After years and years of promoting true camaraderie and change, while simultaneously defending Goth*m, the cracks became too large to ignore. Vincent became the group’s worst critic, posting online about all their faults and aggressively calling for change. This lead him to be an outcast, who was therefore defamed and ousted for what they saw as betrayal vs demanding accountability. He went on to house and feed the youth who were struggling with housing insecurity and was then physically brutally attacked in a h*te crime leaving him permanently disabled. Despite the threats from the Vampyres (for coming on our show), Vincent has chosen to further amplify his voice while still struggling with his own personal circumstances.
