From the gender reveal, through the moments of grace, Felicia and Karega share how their perspective and narratives have changed, and how their daughter continues to help them understand love, grief, and how the two are not mutually exclusive. Karega and Felicia Bailey became Angel Parents to their daughter, Kamaiu SOL in 2019. Since then they have found a radical tenderness and gentleness afforded them concerning their grief, unlike anything they have seen or experienced in their work surrounding social justice and gun violence in our communities.
