I moved to LA when I was just 21 years old, & had MASSIVE dreams of being in the entertainment industry & winning an academy award for best Female Director. When I moved here, I was a starry-eyed young Brit with big dreams - the possibilities seemed utterly endless! Now, when I think about these women coming forward in Diddy’s case, I can’t help but see how eeeeasily I could have been one of them! I mean, I was young & idolized him so if he asked me to a party, I wouldn't have bloody hesitated! You better believe I was naive enough to never EVER have considered that any of this was going on! And so DAAAAMN, how do we women protect ourselves & each other from this kind of level of manipulation? Well, this is EXACTLY why I have decided to speak about the case & have guests on Women Of Impact that can help us understand what is happening so that we have the tools to not only protect ourselves, but help other women from EVER becoming a victim! I’m constantly thinking about how I can uplift and protect women, making sure we have each other’s backs so I couldn't turn a blind eye to this HEINOUS and unacceptable situation. This isn’t just about one person or one case—it's about standing up, speaking out, & never allowing someone to silence you! In today's episode, we bring together an intense & thought-provoking discussion featuring ex-CIA spy, Andrew Bustamante & defense attorney, Karen Conti. We delve deep into the complex intersections of power, fame, & abuse within high-profile communities, with a particular focus on the disturbing allegations surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs. We also discuss the psychological aspects of narcissism in celebrities & the intricate role of reputation management. This is an eye-opening episode you won't want to miss! Join me in the mission to keep helping other women!
