This week on Christories, we're talking about THE FIRST THANKSGIVING! We got the HILARIOUS  @MikeCannonComedy  joining us and learning with us🙌 So, we got the Pilgrims, who didn't really love King George VIII and his new religion so they dipped to hang with the Dutch and THEN they went to new discovered land! That first winter was BRUTAL! But they figured things out with Squanto. The first Thanksgiving in North America took place in 1621, when English Pilgrims and Wampanoag Native Americans came together to celebrate a successful harvest. The Pilgrims, who had settled in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and the Wampanoag shared a feast that included wild game, seafood, and crops like corn and squash. It was a symbol of cooperation and goodwill between the two groups, though the historical details are somewhat limited. Thanksgiving has since become a significant holiday in the United States, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November to give thanks for the year's blessings. 🙆🏼‍♂️ TELL US IN THE COMMENTS your favorite moment BABES OR MAYBE WE MISSED SOME COOL THINGS!! 🙌 🙌SUPPORT THE SHOW, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS! 👉bluechew.com CODE: CHRISTORIES 👉prizepicks.com/christories CODE: Christories 👉ZBIOTICS.COM/CHRISTORIES promo code CHRISTORIES #ChrisDistefano #history #Podcast #comedy — produced written and edited by 🙋‍♀️ Venetia 👉 https://www.venetiageras.com/ — Filmed By Venetia — Written and Researched by Chris Distefano and Venetia ---- animations by @Gripless Chris Distefano @chrisdcomedy Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/chrisdcomedy/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/chrisdcomedy Website - https://www.chrisdcomedy.com/ Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/user/chrisdcomedy/videos 🎞 producer V 🙋‍♀️ Website - https://www.venetiageras.com Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/venetiaageras/ Twitter - https://twitter.com/venetiaageras Welcome to Christories where comedian Chris Distefano tells you about a time in history.
