This conversation focuses on our reaction to the attempts of canceling Eminem and what would have happened to his career if he retired after his 2010 album Recovery. This comeback album had some of his biggest songs yet such as ‘Love The Way You Lie’, ‘Not Afraid’, and ‘No Love’ which helped Eminem reach an audience that extended beyond the limits of the hip hop genre. Many hip-hop fans consider Eminem to be one of the greatest rappers of all time but one career flaw that’s often discussed is his lengthy discography. Eminem’s fan base has been torn on the quality of albums like “Revival”, “Kamikaze” and “Music To Be Murdered By”. At 48 years old, Eminem is still rapping at a top-tier level but he seems more concerned with trolling his listeners, critics, and fans, rather than trying to craft projects that are on the level of classics like “The Marshall Mathers LP”.
