The release of the blockbuster biopic of Michael Jackson’s life called ‘Michael’ is now set to cross a billion dollars at the box office. Made with the Jackson estate's approval, it portrays the young Jackson as a kind-hearted, misunderstood genius; bullied by his father and exploited by the music industry. A very different portrayal of the King of Pop however comes out in the bombshell Netflix documentary - released this week - about his 2005 trial for child molestation. The lawyer seen in the clip was Michael Jackson’s defence attorney during his infamous trial - Thomas Mesereau - who convinced the jury to find Jackson Not Guilty on all 14 counts. He didn’t take part in the documentary but agreed to join Uncensored for the first interview since its release. Piers Morgan is also joined by criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos, Jackson’s crisis publicist Vincent F Amen and NewsNation’s Geraldo Rivera.
