Josh Peck suggests that Nickelodeon's approach to child actors was healthier than Disney's because it did not involve the same intense machine-like training environment.

“it was just kind of like yeah kid like you're great come to your job and and that's it i feel like that is so much healthier than the than the disney machine”

Philip DeFranco implies that the industry needs to move away from the exploitation of children and supports legislation to protect their earnings and mental health.

“So with I have Demi speaking with activists and lawmakers who are working on legislation that would help online child stars and make sure that they're legally entitled to the money that they earn. but this. He believes the transition from child actor to adulthood is long and painful because it involves a lack of the attention previously received as a child.

“I get why so many kids don't transition into adulthood cuz that transition is long and painful hmm there's so much not getting the attention that you got as a kid which feels weird like grow up and take time for people to see you as an adult not a kid”

Sara Scoles believes that being a child star often leads to significant trauma because the brain is not developmentally capable of processing such intense experiences and fame.

“I'm sure that a lot of that stemmed from childhood trauma being a child star a lot of childhood stars suffer from having a lot of um trauma I think too it's like they always say that young you're not supposed to like the normal person doesn't come into all of that at once right”
