He contends that Democrats must shift from acting as defenders of the status quo to becoming a party of reform to regain public trust.

“the party this party cannot be the sum of its identities and in interest groups like there has to be a bigger message about improving people's lives”

Democrats must prioritize investing in progressive media to counteract the influence of the right-wing information apparatus.

“I think that points to the importance of investing in Progressive media I think that that will cause some reflection about uh uh how Democrats speak to voters and who are our Messengers”

He believes Democrats must adopt a politics of humility and actively engage with people outside their ideological bubble to understand their distrust of the status quo.

“it starts by saying we don't have the answers nobody right now you know I know a lot of people are pontificating right now and that's fine but we have to come at it from a sense of humility”

He represents a new, working-class-focused face of the Democratic Party that prioritizes safety and prosperity over the far-left ideology that he believes has overtaken the party in local governance.

“I'm a new I'm the new face of the Democratic party. Uh those workingclass people that's going to fight for a workingclass agenda.”
