He argues that individuals should disconnect from social media to protect their mental peace rather than engaging with negative online commentary.

“I think it’s two themes that jumps out in my mind. One is disconnect, which is for a lot of reasons, the way the reason why we’re here today, because you won’t put Twitter down. Sometimes we have to disconnect. And that’ll sort of minimize, you know, those reminders from the negative side of the neg”

He believes that sending his controversial tweet was a necessary step for him to voice his frustration and achieve personal release from the harassment he faces.
