The Timberwolves displayed championship-level intensity by playing as though it were a game seven, which allowed them to overcome significant roster absences.

“And the Timberwolves they played like they they they they played like this was their game seven. They was not trying to go back to Denver. This was their chance.”

The Minnesota Timberwolves were able to win the game despite missing several key players because they executed a superior game plan that involved attacking the Nuggets' weak defenders.

“Chris Finch put the game plan in and said, "Look, them guys can't guard. Not one. They don't have one guy on their roster that can guard. So, look, attack. Hello. Attack. Yeah. And they they did it at a elite level tonight, too.”
