The British government's reliance on borrowing to pay interest on debt combined with a loss of industrial capacity and poor education leaves the country in a state of terminal decline.

“this is a country which is where the government is borrowing money to pay the interest on its debts. And if you knew somebody who was doing that, you'd you'd uh expect trouble. Secondly, it's a country which has very little power of of recovery because we destroyed uh mostly in the Thatcher era”

“I think that over the next 5 to 10 years there'll be three major trends that we can anticipate. Okay. The first major trend is de-industrialization. Why? Because the entire global economy is based on access to cheap oil from the GCC.”
