He believes Anime Expo has shifted from a focus on the fan experience to being more corporate, similar to how E3 operated.

“AX has gotten very corporate um you know it's still fun as a nintend but it's different from like other conventions now I think because it's less about you know Fan Experience and more about here are some hype anime announcements or trailers or right the E3 of anime Now isn't it”
