He claims the Democratic Party can be revived if voters use the primary process to elect economically populist candidates rather than the establishment incumbents.

“The Democratic Party isn't Joe Biden's or Nancy Pelosi's. The Democratic Party is the voters. And how do you How can you enforce that? In the primaries. In the primaries, you get to say what the Democratic Party's all about. So, show up and kick some ass in the primaries and take the party over.”

He believes that the widespread anger and outrage among Democratic voters toward party leadership creates a unique political opening for genuine change.

“This is the first time in my life, and I went back and I looked looked back at polls. This is the first time in my adult life that there has been such anger among Democratic voters aimed at the the current leadership. There is no precedent for that uh when you look at polling numbers.”
