The Reverend asserts that a genocide is occurring in Nigeria and claims the government is downplaying the violence because it is controlled by Islamic forces.

“I've performed several genocide burial more than 70 times. Imagine some of the grave are 501 people killed in one night in Donahawa. village named Debru. The Nigerian government downplayed that one because the Islamic are controlling the government.”

The former Canadian MP argues that a targeted ethnic cleansing and genocide of Christians is occurring in Nigeria perpetrated by Islamic militants.

“just because Muslims are being murdered, it does not negate the fact that there is a targeted ethnic cleansing of Christian Nigerians.”

The Nigerian foreign minister rejects the claim of a Christian genocide, characterizing reports of tens of thousands of deaths as inaccurate and false.

“Well, to begin with, those figures are completely and totally inaccurate and false. And uh many in the media have um examined them. They've fact checked them. So they they they come from inter society and open doors and they've been shown to be uh in totally inaccurate.”
