The Save America Act, which requires proof of citizenship and photo voter ID, is necessary to restore public confidence in elections.

“the most important thing that people in America want right now despite a secure border, despite an economy that works for them, is we want the Save America Act. And that's proof of citizenship. And that's photo voter ID and order to vote.”

He suggests that using paper ballots, voter ID, and one-day voting increases election security and efficiency, citing the French system as a successful model.

“you want paper ideally you want one day voting and I think it's just very important you have to have the country and you have to have voter ID and you and you have a great election and you're talking about 8% of the cost uh it's like very sad when you get machines you pay all that money”

He believes the US election system is not secure or fair due to the lack of voter ID requirements in several states.

“I don't even believe that you can say one of the most secure in or you know what I would even go further to say I don't believe that you can say in context relatively safe and fair if you have 14 states that require no voter it matter of fact I don't think you could say secure at all”

Polling models for primaries are inherently unreliable because they struggle to accurately predict voter turnout and the behavior of independent voters.

“It's one of the reasons that even it appears that the internal campaign polls were all wrong because in those states you can't even go off the voter file to poll. You were basically doing you're either these media pollsters are relying on self-reported party ID”

She believes it is necessary to speak out publicly against plans by Trump and his allies to interfere with election processes to ensure such attempts are deterred.

“So we call it out now because one of the big hallmarks of Trump 2.0 is that they try stuff and when they get slapped down, they back off. But if they get slapped down before they try it, we have a better chance of getting them not to try it in the first place.”

She argues that voters have a moral obligation to support Democratic candidates to protect vulnerable populations, regardless of personal feelings about the candidate.

“I would crawl through 10 ft of concrete to vote for Gavin Newsome, even though I think he's duplicitus, a hypocrite, a thirst trap, hungry for power. all of the things that you say. There are so many young queer, black, brown mar.”

The recent New York Democratic primary results show that AIPAC is becoming a poisonous brand and that public perception is shifting against the pro-Israel establishment.

“I do think you're seeing our politics reshape by it in ways that I can consider almost positive. Even if you can point to things that one of these winning candidates last on Tuesday night in New York City said that you dislike or some ideology that they've embraced that you think is dangerous, those”

The Democratic party establishment has actively utilized cynical tactics and identity politics to undermine progressive populist candidates.

“Then when they saw what direction it was going actually we are going to get involved in this race and Whitmer is a very popular figure especially with Democrats in the state of Michigan. So they pulled out all of the stops here from the money the endorsements the ads the you know the sort of cynical”

She urges the audience to vote for Kamala Harris and other marginalized groups to protect their interests.

“vote for the most marginalized people in our communities vote for women votee to end gun violence vote for your friends that are members of the lgbtq plus Community vote for a competent woman vote for kamla Harris please for the love of God go vote”

Voters should support Democratic candidates in the 2026 midterms as a strategy to penalize the Republican party for failing to fulfill its campaign promises.

“So, you know, in 2024, I didn't vote Republican. I recused myself. I just told people not to vote. Everybody thinks I voted for Kamla, but I didn't. I just told people to withhold their vote. But in 2026, really did it for me was the war in Iran.”

Republican candidates need to focus on grassroots campaigning and hard work rather than relying solely on endorsements.

“Get your asses out there. Go do your thing. Go grassroot. do everything because guess what? Daddy's Trump co-signing isn't as powerful as it used to be. You need to be out there.”

Republicans are showing clear signs of electoral vulnerability by shifting campaign resources to protect safe seats in deep-red states.

“it's all in Republican territory almost. 43 of the 49 seats that have gotten a little bit of money, at least some money, are seats Trump won. Over 20 of those he won by over nine points.”

The Democratic Party should improve its candidate recruitment to feature more exciting, younger, and energized individuals.

“I think we just got to recruit cooler better people and they're out there and I think we'll be fine. I I agree. I don't think people are looking for some like revolution. They're just looking to be able to afford health insurance and these people are saying this is [ __ ] man. like we can do better.”

Republicans should embrace early and mail-in voting to increase voter turnout and allow resources to be focused on hard-to-reach voters.

“the other side of that which is in some ways actually an anti-fraud effort as well is to encourage voters to vote early by in person early or by mail or sign up for automatic absentee as we're able to do in my home state of Virginia and we have not done a very good job at that”

Republicans can succeed in the midterms if they remain focused on delivering results and fulfilling the promises made during the 2024 cycle.

“And so, you know, I think it becomes just incumbent upon us to follow through with the promises that we made in the 2024 election cycle and bring as many of those promises across the finish line as possible.”
