He believes the intervention was necessary because it was a clear and communicated action to patrol the American neighborhood against adversaries.

“The United States clearly communicated what its foreign policy goals were in the Western Hemisphere. And that's a breath of fresh air to people to say, we looked at the NSS. It was very clear what we wanted to do in our backyard. And then we went and did it.”

The invasion of Venezuela is a calculated attempt by Donald Trump to extract national wealth and resources for himself and his allies under the guise of an American empire.

“These things just never ever ever work out. And Trump has made his plan abundantly clear here that he is in this to extract the wealth and resources of the country. He's in it to colonize these countries.”

“US intelligence has assessed that none of the fentinyl that is trafficked to the United States is being produced in Venezuela despite recent claims from the Trump administration.”

“I think that Machado has said a number of things and done a number of things to try to curry favor with Donald Trump that I think has made her look weak and has undermined her strength and I think ability to be an effective leader.”
