He admits to being a former cyber criminal who manufactured and distributed millions in fraudulent credit cards and driver's licenses for profit.

“roughly from 2005 to 2009 I manufactured and distributed uh $3.5 million in fraudulent credit cards and driver's licenses via the Internet and I made a boatload of money uh doing it”

He notes that investigating cyber crimes is significantly more challenging than traditional detective work because of the use of overseas proxy servers.

“is it harder to investigate absolutely because they're using uh these proxy servers that are overseas so I could be sitting in a Starbucks hitting on a Wi-Fi there but my server is somewhere in Nigeria or another country whatever I'm not to picking on their country but that's where one of them were”
