It is highly commendable when artists take active control over their business and career.

An artist's success is tied to being authentic and true to their own personality rather than chasing external validation.

“you got [ __ ] out here and you I don't knock them but they sell a [ __ ] with personality mm-hmm they use again as big as the personality but these [ __ ] got personality so they able to move the needle because [ __ ] buy into who they are”

“Don't listen to them. Do what you good at. Do what you know you good at. Do what you It don't matter if they say you bad at it.”

“it's really important to have like your outside team and I'm actually just now you know not we I guess just now I always kind of knew that um but I'm just now being um I'm acting on it”

“so when the opportunity presented itself and God he came along he took the opportunity he took the money as well because he had proof of concept I'm already hot out here I'm doing something I'm moving so that that right there values you to get more money”

“So with us you you may have heard me say this term before that we not investors we believers. Mhm. I said this a couple times and I said it to say that if we sign you that's cuz we believe in you. If we believe in you we'll spend it all till we get you there.”

Young artists should not pass up on opportunities because they are rare and can change one's life.

“it's just all the young guys don't pass up on your opportunities pray to God other opportunities maybe if you're trying to like leave you might get a few more opportunities but everybody don't know I'm saying even the most talented”

Artists must keep their social media profiles public to increase discoverability and should not have private accounts.

“If you want to be an artist, you should never make your profile private. Ever. That is what [ __ ] up your algorithm. You're You can't be discovered if your profile's private.”

Ron Fair believes that forcing artists to record material can be a valid and effective strategy for achieving number one hits.

“I need a guy who can force artists to sing number one records.”
