“Well, yesterday, Nicholas Maduro, the Ursw Wild dictator of Venezuela, who of course was extradited by the United States in a snatch and grabb operation, shocking in its magnitude and competence, appeared in US court for the very first time.”

The recent intervention in Venezuela is a pretext for oil exploitation rather than a genuine effort to promote freedom.

“I mean, freedom is not on the march. Everybody, I know everybody's all excited. I live in Miami where there's a lot of V there's a lot of Venezuelans who are excited. I get it and I got the initial, you know, excitement, but freedom is not on the march in Venezuela.”

The recent US military action against Venezuela is motivated by the desire to control its oil reserves rather than democracy or anti-drug efforts.

“This war is not about drug trafficking. It is it is not about democracy. It is about stealing Venezuela's oil and dominating Latin America.”

Venezuela's economic collapse was caused by a combination of corruption, reliance on mineral extraction, and the failure to reinvest in infrastructure.

“When they get this sudden influx of cash, a lot of times they start spreading it around and they start all these social programs. And that is great until the price of that commodity suddenly collapses. And that's kind of what we saw in 2010 where you had all these social programs. The economy sudden”
