He asserts that the ultimate product forms for AI have not yet been discovered and that the industry will eventually move beyond the current chatbot paradigm.

“I'm sure there will be chat bots 20 years from now, but I I'm I'm pretty confident that, um, you know, both the current chatbot companies and many new companies are going to figure out many kinds of user experiences that are radically different that we don't we don't even know yet.”

He is skeptical of the idea of subscription-based features for physical home appliances.

“imagine you were just sitting in your house and all of a sudden you get notified that you have to like pay for your toaster your toaster like your microwave your Outlets”

Innovation is driven by clear goals and the willingness to pursue radical change rather than merely incrementally improving existing, flawed systems.

“every one of those designs has limitations built into it like like it's sort of like if you have if you buy a two bedroom house you can add one bedroom you can't add eight bedrooms like if you want an eight-bedroom house you have to build a different kind of house right”

Organizations must transform their existing incumbent entities to survive in the face of rapid technological change.

“You think of large existing enterprise and I think you have a choice. You have a choice of transform or die.”

Quantum computing is advancing faster than expected and will likely yield useful applications within the next five years.

“So you put all that together, you realize that the progress that people had kind of decades away is actually happening much faster. So I actually think we're going to start to see useful applications in the next five or so years from quantum computing and that's pretty exciting.”
