Lamar Jackson is solely focused on playing football and winning, leaving contract negotiations to his mother.

“Lamar is one that just wants to play football. I know we we understand the nature of the business and you don't want to get yourself in any type of distraction situations that can take you from said game of football, but obviously his his eye is on the prize.”

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson will eventually agree on a contract extension, but it will not be excessive regarding the salary cap.

“I think it's going to be it's going to happen sooner rather than later that he's going to get something done. And uh I can see I agree with you. I can see them somewhere at some point in time getting a deal done if he wants to get it done.”
