Enlightenment is a state of awareness from which one cannot fall back, but it is fundamentally impossible to embody while fully enlightened.

“If you reach to certain state of awareness where you cannot fall back. Maybe I wouldn't. But, maybe you can call that enlightenment. I wouldn't call that enlightenment, personally.”

Enlightenment is the process of stripping away societal conditioning and misunderstandings to reveal one's true nature.

“we already are enlightened. We just need to get rid of the mud of the mind. All this other crap that's on top of us that we pick up the second we're born from our families, our friends, our society.”

Human beings are innately enlightened, but this reality is obscured by the ego-driven mind.

“The innate essence of who you are, the reality who you are >> is enlightened but it is covered by the mind.”

The four stages of enlightenment function by uprooting specific defilements at each level of realization.

“the function of each of those moments of realization of that that particular stage is the uprooting of certain defilements in accordance with that particular stage.”

Enlightenment is the realization of the unconditioned that permanently transforms the mind by uprooting doubt and the belief in an enduring self.

“It is said that at the point of first accessing the unconditioned that doubt about the teachings of the path, the dharma and the the ability to practice in this way is uprooted. Meaning it's not just suppressed through concentration. It's uprooted from the mind never to appear again.”
