The 2010s is the superior decade for anime because the industry refined its use of digital technology, resulting in shows that are easier to recommend than those from the 2000s.

“I would say even like the '90s shows because it's a lot like it's such a unique experience that a lot of the '90s shows are easier to recommend than than the 2000 show I think the 2000 has a real like identity problem”

He believes the current high output of anime production is unsustainable.

“it does feel like there's going to be like a bubble of anime like it just feels like this isn't sustainable you think it's going to burst you half of these shows must not financially recover what they're invested”
