He expresses deep suspicion that the earthquake recovery efforts in Venezuela are being used as a cover for child trafficking and US military occupation.

“So, you have a legitimate fear that they're going to use this crisis or maybe even manufacture a bigger crisis of child trafficking than maybe is uh to justify more US military occupation.”

She argues that the devastation is being exploited to justify foreign military intervention and challenges the sincerity of international aid groups.

“what now critics of that government are doing that want to overthrow the government and have for years are doing is using this as justification to say this is why we need total US military occupation of the country.”
