Gillie Da King believes that while music may play a small part in influencing youth, it does not actually initiate conflicts.

Charlamagne tha God believes that hip-hop is currently in a very healthy state with both veteran artists and new talent producing quality work.

Dj Nyla Symone expresses satisfaction with the high quality of hip-hop being released by veteran artists on labels like Mass Appeal.

“The OG's have been putting in work and Mass Appeal does a great job of making sure that the OG's put out great projects that uh you know um get give people what they just do.”
