Pat McAfee argues that Luka Doncic's frequent complaining to referees makes him difficult to watch and undermines his potential as the face of the NBA.

“I hate watching him play basketball right now I hate it well I I I don't he just he just [ __ ] all the time and it's like hey Bob I understand the refs suck we are maybe the loudest advocates for that but you can't every single time you're on a court every single time something happens just [ __ ] ”

Luka Doncic's conditioning needs to be rectified to maximize his immense basketball talents.

“Is he going to dedicate himself? Is he going to recognize that he's the new face of the franchise for the Los Angeles Lakers? Is he going to understand the importance of making sure he's in peak condition so he can maximize his talents?”

Luka Doncic struggles to be an effective emotional leader for his franchise due to his dispassionate behavior and tendency to complain to referees.

“Do you think part of that makes it hard for him to be a true emotional leader, not talent, an emotional bedrock player like a Duncan or an MJ for a franchise or a Dwyane Wade?”
