He thinks that murder committed during sleepwalking does not result in jail time but rather in placement into a facility.

“and imagine that feeling like you like you did it but you were sleepwalking but you didn't do it but you did it but you don't go to jail for that you get put into like a facility right”

He suggests that in a sleep study used to verify a sleepwalking defense, a person might have to fake a sleepwalking episode in a lab.

“can you imagine being like it normally happens imagine like you didn't actually do it while in your sleep and like you have to now fake it like in the lab and you're like okay how do I play this off like I'm sleeping”

She believes it is possible for people to legitimately commit crimes while sleepwalking.

“it's been proven that yeah killed sleepwalking right oh man and imagine that feeling like you like you did it but you were sleepwalking but you didn't do it but you did it but you don't go to jail for that you get put into like a facility right I guess that you would have to prove it”
