Desi Lydic argues that Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino's reassignment is an embarrassing demotion disguised by the administration as a staffing change.

“The Department of Homeland Security has been insisting this is not a demotion for Bavino. Oh. Uh-huh. Okay. Of course not. We're we're not throwing you under the bus. We're throwing you onto a bus and sending it far far away.”

It is weak and an embarrassment for the Trump administration to pull back Border Patrol operations in response to the situation in Minneapolis.

“I hate the fact that it looks like Trump is is backing down. And I hate the fact that he's talking to Frey about this stuff. Like the the administration is completely in the right in in trying to get the illegals out of Minneapolis. So to back down, I think it it just makes him look weak.”
