“Without renewables we couldn't have had batteries become important, but because of renewables batteries have become important and are indeed the biggest game.”

Electric school buses can effectively function as virtual power plants by selling stored energy back to the grid during off-duty hours.

“these school buses can then now act as these virtual plants of power right virtual power plants and dispense that energy back”

He believes the transition to renewable energy in Australia is moving rapidly due to favorable economics, despite a lack of federal government support.

“So we could do so much more if we had a government that was wanting the transition or even pushing the transition. But we're actually the transition's moving pretty quickly in Australia despite that”

Vehicle-to-grid technology is essential for providing the massive storage capacity required to balance intermittent renewable energy on the power grid.

“you need massive storage designed into the grid to be able to accommodate the intermittance and generation for wind and solar relative to load from customers”

He believes the push for green energy and specific policies in California are undermining the state's oil and gas industry despite its history as a top producer.

“California they've kind of been the Forefront of all of the electric push and you know Green energy push and it seems like they got some pretty wild policies out there and uh you know my company we've we are I think the second largest entrance owner in the thumbs unit out in Long Beach Harbo”

Developing oil and gas resources within the United States is more environmentally responsible than producing them in other parts of the world.

“if you were really an environmentalist who cared about the globe you would be advocating for more development here than elsewhere because Nobody Does it Better than we do”

He contends that California's energy policy is hypocritical because it prioritizes importing oil from environmentally sensitive regions like Ecuador while stifling local production.

“that has been so fouled up and distorted that now importing an inferior product from the Amazon rainforest inferior from an environmental standpoint”

Wind and solar energy cannot replace fossil fuels because oil is essential for manufacturing thousands of products and sustaining modern society in ways renewables cannot.

“wind and solar only generates electricity she doesn't know that in crude oil on the other hand crud o is never use to generate electricity coal is natural gases but oil isn't oil is useless it's black tar unless you can beat it and heat it and crack and all the crazy things to do in Refi”
