Religious persecution of Christians by Muslims is a common occurrence in Egypt.

“In Egypt, you go to church knowing that there might be a bombing. Christians go to church knowing that one church might get bombed. There'll be a terrorist attack. Someone's going to get killed. My dad's had my dad as a pastor had many pastor friends who got killed. So, this is a normal story.”

Christian clergy in Jerusalem face harassment and acts of disrespect from radical settler groups who seek to exclude them.

“their main mission is to purify Jerusalem from infidels, Christians. That's that's that's their mission and they say it out loud.”
