The United States must continue to advance its AI technology to maintain a necessary balance of power against China.

“My My base case right now is that both sides, in particular Washington, want to be seen to be making a deal and to have a positive relationship right now. So, this I think is it will continue to be in the background, but I don't think it will be at front and center.”

“my expectation would be that essentially this discussion and ones that will follow between the US and Chinese sides will extend that truce essentially because the Chinese still really need the US market and the US really needs those rare earths and critical minerals from China.”
