He views Megadeth's musical style as a fusion of metal, jazz, classical, and punk influences.

“So, we created Maggodet. It was a metal jazz band that had classical and punk influences and we were a three-piece for a little while”

“just be authentic and that's really hard to do it's really hard to be authentic because there's so many pressures that people put upon upon themselves you know commercial pressures this pressure that just think whether whatever it is that you're trying to do whether it's a painting if it's a play if”

“You don't call a band who's done 12 albums at that point. Unsuccessful. They've got 12 albums out. Being unsuccessful would be something. They did an album and they don't exist anymore for 20, 30 years.”

Musicians should stick to their artistic vision rather than chasing financial opportunities that compromise their integrity.

“We stick to our guns, you know, like, we know. So we're not gonna change.”

Luke Lafreniere recommends heavy metal music as an effective tool for working through difficult emotional experiences and personal struggles.

“no matter what emotion you're feeling no matter what you're going through you can throw on any one of those classic albums and work through it”

He posits that Iron Maiden would have been too large a band to participate in a four-band tour with the other specified groups.

“I would also argue too that Um, Iron Maiden is a little too big, I think, to be tagging along in a in a in a four band tour.”
