Modern socialist movements in America are promoting failed Marxist projects directly from the Soviet, Cuban, and Venezuelan handbooks.

“But the solutions that they are actually proposing are fullscale nationalization projects, Marxist projects directly from the Soviet, Cuban, Venezuelan handbook.”

Socialist and communist policies are attractive to some because they offer simple solutions to economic inequality, but ultimately result in poverty and misery.

“I've always said Dave that communism is the easiest cell in politics because every society is an inverted pyramid, right? There's always less wealthy people numerically more people that are on the lower end of the economic uh uh pyramid.”

Socialism is an inherently dangerous and undesirable ideology for the United States.

“Eugene Debs, for those who don't know, was a socialist presidential candidate. He was jailed for sedition. Okay, this guy was very very prominent, very dangerous man.”

He thinks that the current economic system is not functioning effectively for many people.

“The current system doesn't seem to be working all that well.”

He suggests that skepticism of communism and socialism should remain because of the historical failures associated with those ideologies.

“I'm really trying to as always not very political. I don't vote. I didn't vote. So you can tell me just shut the [ __ ] up because I shouldn't be talking if I didn't vote. All that stuff is true. But um I am trying to figure out whether you know our our whole lives, every education, every every clas”
