He believes the party needs to raise more money to invest in infrastructure and electoral competition while demonstrating results to build trust.

“What parties do is they help create infrastructure for victories or losses. And so the way to raise money for the Democratic party is fundamentally to to instill trust to demonstrate the results that come from those investments.”

He expresses concern that the current financial situation at the DNC is a crisis of confidence in leadership and argues for a change.

“This is a crisis, you know, like this is the terrible fundraising and the autopsy report and the interview with you. This is all compounded into a crisis of confidence with DNC leadership. and it is just not going to improve and it's time to make a change”

The Democratic Party leadership treats its voter base in a patronizing manner by demanding loyalty while failing to provide transparency.

“But, the disdain in the way these parties treat their voter base from an an institutional level institution of the Democratic Party is so patronizing to me.”

Ken Martin's failure to release the 2024 election autopsy report has damaged the Democratic Party by fostering distrust and conspiracy theories among voters.

“This thing could have been released and dropped, and people would have forgotten about it for 2 weeks, but instead, we now have the 6-month story that is actively doing damage to the Democratic Party.”

The Democratic National Committee functions as an appendage of the White House when the party is in power, which reduces its role to being a rubber stamp.

“most of the time the DNC is an appendage of the White House when we're in power and so they're the rubberist they become the rubberist of rubber stamps because the money that they get comes from the White House fundraising operation”
