“I would probably rank it A tier because I think it's like a good argument. Um, this is one of the arguments that started like causing me to shift in my seat when I was at Agnostic. I was like, "Oh man, there really is a lot of plausibility to this."”

There should be an external causal explanation for any collection of purely dependent things.

“so for any for any purely dependent things plural there there's some deeper explanation of the of their existence. And then to avoid circularity that's going to give you something non-dependent and foundational.”

“I do think that there is something objective and real, although obviously a lot of our moral intuitions are evolved intuitions that have helped our ancestors to survive. Um so I don't really trust those moral intuitions, but I think that uh reason has something to say about ethics and that's”

Kathleen Stock holds that objective moral and factual truths exist and that she is an objectivist in those realms, in contrast to her subjectivist view regarding aesthetic preferences like music.
