Tulsi Gabbard attributes the ongoing campus protests to a failure of leadership to address the radical Islamist ideology driving these movements.

“it is a direct reflection of a failure of leadership across different administrations through both political parties to address what is at the heart of of of uh what is being manifested through these protests there is uh in in islamist terrorist groups like Hamas Hezbollah Isis Al-Qaeda”

He characterizes the student protestors in Serbia as left-wing individuals frustrated by government corruption and authoritarianism.

“the students that I've seen being interviewed are very much what I would identify as kind of traditional quite left-wing students who are basically saying we're fed up of corruption we're fed up of a government that is you know basically just expects the people to do as they're told the whole time”
