Sound will be the medicine of the future. - Edgar Cayce Sound medium and healing artist, Katy Samwell is our special guest. With 20+ years working with voice, sound, and music mixed with a decade of experience in inner work and holistic training in many different healing modalities, Katy's mastery is helping people clear stuck emotional energy, unleash creativity with passion, and rebalance through sound. She believes we have a right to be in our natural state of calm, peace, clarity, abundance, and joy. Katy has just released her first album, Medicine Songs, which offers a soundscape of healing music under Lee's conscious collective music label, Golden World Music. She also offers private sound healing sessions and is the host of her podcast, Soundascending. In this show, Lee and Katy explore: *What role music played in Katy's early life and when the music and spirituality merged together. *How her new album (a dream of hers since she was 18 years old) came to be and her process mapping it out. *What she is hoping people receive from her album. *The creative journey and how trust and surrendering play a factor. *Her podcast and what it's been like hosting that. We hope you enjoy some of Katy's music videos featured in this show.
