Today’s guest Sherrilyn Ifill reminds us that nothing we do to help our country right now is wasted. It’s time we really decided who we are and who we want to be. We are drowning in moral decay in America right now and it’s demoralizing. The weakness and willingness for so many of our fellow citizens to choose the path of least resistance has led us to a place where this upcoming election is existential. It is everything. The opposition needs to win to simply keep our heads above water. It is up to all of us to not only save us with our votes now, but stay engage in the days and years to come to build something better than what we’ve ever had. As Sherrilyn says, “The founders of tomorrow are among us today.” We have to help them, be them, and support them. Now is not the time for nialism, now is the time for action.
