Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to Steve Hilton about what California politicians say behind closed doors; who really controls the levers of power in the state; his campaign for California governor against Xavier Becerra; why he believes Gavin Newsom and 16 years of Democratic leadership have driven residents, businesses, and billionaires like Elon Musk out of California; the state's skyrocketing cost of living, housing affordability crisis, high taxes, and excessive regulations; the shocking encounter with a California lawmaker who admitted that labor unions control Sacramento politics and how it convinced him to run for governor; his proposal for $150,000 in tax-free income, $3 gas, and lower vehicle registration fees; his promise to end mass homelessness in his first year; California's problems with crime, failing public schools, and government spending; surprising election polling numbers and reports of lifelong Democrats switching parties; how Democrats exploit California's mail-in voting system and ballot harvesting; his alliance with Spencer Pratt; why he believes California is heading toward an economic cliff; Gavin Newsom's handling of homelessness and the state's struggling business climate; and much more.
