THIS WEEK'S GUEST IS A VERY WELL KNOWN PERFORMER AND ENTERTAIN…. OH WAIT THAT GUEST CANCELLED. This week's last minute guests are two thirds of The Vegas Dads, one, a carpet king, the other, the prince of rugs. You know them as Dad Glassman and Marc Wien (with feature-- The Uncle Bob of the carpet family, Marc's brother, Chuck)! This family episode opens up with Dad breaking the audio equipment, so apologies for any further issues or if you’re upset about the lack of headphones. The Marshall Empire roundtable discuss the issue of Rick's guest canceling day-of, and how a simple “sorry” gets you a little slack. As we deal with ongoing technical difficulties, Mark thinks up a t-shirt design and tells us about blackjack or poker or something (Betty here, I zoned out with the gambling chat…but I’m sure you’ll all love it). Rick wants the Dad's to acknowledge that the Marshall rug and carpet store sales have SKYROCKETED since the podcast mentions and discusses the commercial… more specifically SWEATPANT-GATE. Rick adds another family business into the mix. Cousin Iris, the 94year young Entrepreneur and manufacturing mogul, sells her wears including the perfect dusting gloves and doorstops… alongside your Marshall's Rug, you’ll be living in a true goblin palace. The remainder of the episode features old dads discussing apple watches, the latest trends in robberies, and who has the biggest SHVANTZ ever. Can you believe we nearly had another guest on?!?
