Donna Adelson’s murder trial may be delayed again—this time over a secret wiretap and new side investigation. Is the state hiding something… or did they catch something even more damning? ⸻ #STSNation, Welcome to Surviving the Survivor — the show that brings you the #BestGuests in all of #TrueCrime. The murder trial of Donna Adelson, already riddled with twists, has taken yet another wild turn. In an April 30 hearing, her defense team revealed the state secretly launched a side investigation involving a mysterious informant and over 30 wiretapped calls. The defense claims attorney-client conversations may have been intercepted, violating her constitutional rights — and they’ve barely scratched the surface of reviewing more than 32 hours of audio and 100,000+ emails. Judge Stephen Everett hasn’t ruled yet on delaying the June trial, but even the prosecution admits they wouldn’t be prejudiced by a continuance. Is this a legitimate delay tactic… or has new evidence come to light? We’ll break it all down with expert guests and bring you inside the courtroom drama like no one else can. ⸻ #BestGuests: • Louis Baptiste - Attorney & Dan Markel’s law student at FSU • Josh Ritter @CRConfidential • Jared Ross, @justicefordanm ⸻ Get Joel’s Book: https://amzn.to/48GwbLx STS Membership: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-yriE5bY713MoWJOrK5GvA/join Exclusive STS Content ❤️: https://www.patreon.com/survivingthesurvivor All Things STS 👉: https://linktr.ee/stspodcast Hashtags: #DonnaAdelson #CharlieAdelson #DanMarkel #FSU #FloridaStateUniversity #FSULaw #MurderForHire #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #TrueCrimePodcast #JusticeForDanMarkel #MurderTrial #CriminalInvestigation #LegalDrama #Wiretap #SurvivingTheSurvivor
